’Nature Photography Through Four Seasons’ by Arnold Wilson demonstrates that nature photography, from landscapes to close-up work, can be a fulfilling year-round activity and need not be just confined to the Spring and Summer months. Reading through the book, you will discover that it is not difficult to find interesting subjects to photograph during the grey mists of November, the biting frost and snow of January and the wet and windy days of March. The book is beautifully illustrated with the author’s own photographs, most of which were taken within a few miles of his home - proving that you do not need a passport to capture great shots. Arnold Wilson’s approach is a practical one. He explains fully how each photograph was taken and highlights potential problems. This is a brilliant book and deserves a place in any discerning photographer’s collection.
