3CCD Camera System:

Playing a critical role in picture quality, this system, which uses a separate CCD to process each of the three primary components of light provides exceptionally pure, faithful colour. Panasonic’s advanced 3CCD system gives users greater beauty in three different ways: in colour, detail and gradation.
Crystal Engine:
Furthermore, Panasonic’s Crystal Engine advanced image-processing circuitry helps deliver maximum performance from the CCD camera system. The Crystal Engine processes the signal from each of the three CCDs independently, giving both moving and still pictures outstanding quality. The Crystal Engine digital signal processing LSI suppresses noise and enhances the resolution.
